The story of why corsets look so damned extreme on me

So- corsets!
My gosh do people react to seeing me in corsets. Every time media has contacted me- it has been about me and my corsets... Never mind that my boobs are giant and fake- my corsets are the focus...

There are so many women who wear corsets. It isn't as mainstream as many things- but it's sure as hell still a popular subculture in fashion nowadaaaays...
So- I am lucky. I don't have a stomach.
People look at me in a corset, and they think "Wow- her arms/legs are fat, her stomach must normally match that."
No. No it doesn't. I don't store fat there. I mean sure I have SOME- but... Here we have some examples.

So- we've got some laying down action going on here. "Laying down hides your chub" you say.  Okay- it can do- but the concavity of my stomach should show that it's fairly devoid of fat. Anyway. Some standing is in order.

This seriously is a flat tummy. You know- I'm still a big girl- but my legs are _huge_ and so are my arms. The stomach just doesn't have the weight stored there that is generally common for someone of my size.  Finally- I will show off an UNFLATTERING angle of my tum.

So this- THIS- this right here... Is me partially bent forwards. My tummy is as poochy as it gets. I am very lucky. My genetics just don't store fat here. It probably has to do with working out and keeping fit and stuff too- but ultimately it's my genes. I am a lucky mofo.

So- corsets look extreme on me! You're correct. I also DO wear them fairly frequently. When I first started wearing them I trained down an INSANE amount- but to be perfectly honest, I have had a hard time getting back in to that lately. There is too much physical expectations on my life at the moment, and corsets can get in the way of that.
The waist you see in my photos now- is just a mild reduction of six-ish inches. Which is normal for a lot of women- especially softer ones.
I desperately want to get back into training- but random things have been preventing me. I do have a goal to get back hardcore into it when we're stateside... I do like the extreme waist that I got when training.
This is what my waist looked like when I was hardcore training...
IN a corset:

24 inches internal.

and OUT of a corset:

26 inch natural waist. (some swelling would likely occur if I left the corset off for more than an hour- I did not. So I'm not sure how large my waist would get if I'd left it off for a day or more.)
